My family member has an intellectual disability and autism and has to see the practice nurse regularly.
She exemplified positive inclusive care by supporting my family member to make informed choices, to ensure that they understood the information and to ensure they were willing to have their procedures.
The nurse remembered my family member and their preferences and made the whole experience perfect.
