I had a fingernail removal in December and I just want to say it was a really positive experience. David was the Surgical nurse and Alison - I think she may have been in training - they were just great.
They were really short-staffed but just a really good team.
I did feel faint during it, from low blood pressure, but I had been chirping like a budgie so when I stopped they immediately noticed. I couldn't fault it, it was just a nice experience that went so smoothly, very worthwhile.
They were so supportive - I was absolutely dreading it, getting my fingernail removed under local anesthetic - but they spoke to me and calmed me down the whole way through, very reassuring.
Just such genuine, lovely people.
"A really positive experience"
