I tried to get an appointment to see a Dr for a week, phoning each morning to be told no appointments phone again tomorrow. I asked if I could book an appointment for tomorrow to be told NO. By the end of the week I had to go to a walk in centre. I was told to see my GP for further tests. Over the weekend I became more ill and tried each morning to get an appointment to the same answer. By Friday morning I asked how do I get an appointment to see a Dr when the appointments have all gone. I was then offered an out of hours GP appointment at Litherland Town Hall at 19:45. Apparently this was the only appointment left. I was so ill I took it. I then got a call from the out of hours Dr to say if the time wasn't convenient then it could be changed. I asked what was available and he said 5pm, 5:15,5:30. Why was I only given 7:45pm? I can't fault the Dr, he was excellent and a lovely manner. I now have to have an xray at the walk in centre and then a scan but how the hell do I get to see a GP for the results and any treatment?!
