About: St Bartholomew's Hospital / Cardiology

(as the patient),

Went in for a Coronary by-pass operation. From the initial assessment, the pre-surgery tests like blood tests, X-rays etc, the hospital is run like clockwork---minimal waiting time compared to 1-2hr wait at other hospitals. WHY is this not a Standard for other hospital to achieve ?

The surgery and post operative care was beyond reproach including the ICU and HDU.

The nursing staff was fabulous and caring and worked so hard without complaint.

Had my Coronary by-pass on the 14th Aug by the brilliant surgeon Ben Adams.

Exemplary care from ICU on the 14th night/15th Aug, HDU on the 16/17th Aug and General ward4 on the 18th Aug.
