"Car Parking"

About: Royal United Hospital

My partner recently brought her daughter to the RUH suffering with double pneumonia which thankfully, with excellent treatment, has now fully recovered.

The problem is that since that day my partner has received a parking fine of £80. When she left the hospital she paid by credit card and received a “receipt”.

Since receiving the fine she has checked her bank account to find that no money was deducted so as part of her appeal she sent the receipt and has advised she is happy to pay any amount due.

By having a receipt she has indicated an “intent to pay” but Parking Eye have completely ignored this and are continuing to demand the £80.

Is there anyone who can help or advise on this upsetting matter?
