"Overwhelmed by all the compassion"

About: Western General Hospital / General Medicine

(as a service user),

I've got to say, I've been in ward 73 room 16 for 11 weeks now and at the end of it, I've got to say that all the doctors, nurses, healthcare assistants, cares, tea ladies and cleaners have become my family.

They have all been so caring, so nurturing, so encouraging -I'm just overwhelmed by all the compassion. I just wanted to thank all the staff at Western General Hospital, I will definitely be sending them a gift basket, and if I knew how to get the papers to sing their praises, I would do that too.

Dear Authenticqe33

What fantastic feedback which I have already shared with all the staff.

The staff really appreciate knowing when their care has been of achieved to the standard they aspire to and they will be really pleased that you found their care compassionate.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this post and I really hope you get home soon to continue your rehabilitation.
