About: Inverclyde Royal Hospital / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I was admitted to K North IRH after I was injured in a car accident, I have been an NHS employee for many years but not as a patient. From the moment I arrived in the ward I was treated with kindness by everyone. I spent four days in the ward and I can honestly say that everyone including the Consultant, the  Registrar, Nurses, HCSW, student nurses, Domestics, AHPs and the Porters  were great, I was fully informed  at every stage and kept updated throughout . The ward was very very busy and the nurses were run off their feet but they remained professional and compassionate. Well done to everyone in KNorth you truly made a stressful situation bearable, you are all a credit to our NHS.  Thank you.

I'm very sorry to read that you were injured in a car accident and can appreciate what a worrying time it must have been for you to become a patient.

It is very reassuring to hear that you were treated professionally, with kindness and compassion and kept informed by all staff members, as that is the standard we aspire to for each and every patient.
