(as the patient),

so.. recently i have been attending hairmyres for various appointments and tests! on the one hand its good i am getting thoroughly checked but on the other there should be a way of organising your appointments to coincide with each other  like book all the tests around the same 1-2 week span to stop multiple trips to the hospital. 

I attended for x-rays, Gastroscopes, Oesophageal manometry with 24 hour studies.

all these tests were conducted professionally by staff. 

all the staff were lovely and caring.

On a bad note! 

Cleanliness within the hospital, used the public toilets across from the shop. Well.. walked out as soon as i walked in. was disgusting- these toilets are always a mess unclean and on more occasions than not looks like a bomb went off (i think you can guess what kind)

canteen - overpriced, shocking portion sizes, bland food - a burger van is better

Dear not so scary

We apologise that you felt that the cleanliness within the public toilets fell below the high standards expected.

We can advise that public toilets are cleaned daily and checked a minimum of twice daily with all checks recorded.

In addition, we thank you for taking the time to comment on the restaurant and can advise that pricing and portion sizes are in line with similar retail outlets within the area.

Additionally, food served within the restaurant must meet food in hospital guidelines, consequently we ensure that condiments are available at all times.
