(as the patient),

I've had a few appointments here recently. My only feedback is that the waiting area is very busy and cramped - with a lot of space being taken up by a local charity. And their mess on the floor. I almost tripped over a banner - it is an eye clinic after all. My eyesight isn't fabulous. 

Lovely healthcare team. Obviously very busy but please please please can the receptionist staff be less abrupt.

We aren't at the hospital for a day out.

We appreciate your feedback.

We are aware that our waiting areas are extremely busy at times.

The local charity you refer to, I think is our Eye clinic liaison officer ( ECLO) and her information stand, she is part of our team and works Monday to Thursday.

The eye unit is about to undergo some improvement in the new year, and seating and waiting areas are projected to improve.

We are also looking to move the ECLO stand to a more suitable area, allowing more seating.

I have also discussed your experience with the reception team, and I apologise if your expectations were not met.

Thank you again for your post, we welcome all feed back, so that we can review our practise and learn.
