We came here about 4 hours ago . And just one nurse checked us up for 5 mints and then carry on waiting . Its been 4 hour and still we are waiting. I am really dissappoint with theit service. I came here to get better but i am felling much worse mentally and physically. They dont update us . Just waiting .its really disgraceful

We are sorry for your experience. The hospital is currently experiencing very high levels of attendances to the Emergency Department; therefore we are extremely busy and need to prioritise patients. We have patients suffering from life-threatening illnesses and injuries such as upper respiratory conditions, cardiac problems and flu-like symptoms.

We usually try and make sure patients attending the Emergency Department are seen by a nurse within 15 minutes of arrival and by a doctor within 60 minutes of arrival. However, with this higher than expected demand for this time of year, it does mean doctors and nurses are taking longer to see patients than we would like.
