Re Pneumonia vaccinations. I was 65 in March and been waiting to be asked to attend the surgery for this vaccination in October called in surgery and enquired about it and was told they would contact me to attend the clinic I hadn't heard anything so rang yesterday and was told by receptionist the clinics had finished and an appointment would have to be made with a nurse.I have just been to the surgery to pick up a prescription and could only be offered 1 appointment next Tuesday which unfortunately could not attend due to work. The next appointment available is December 31st . I'm disappointed in having to wait that long when I'm trying to protect myself which in turn helps the pressure on the NHS which at this time of year they are struggling to cope..I can't understand why I can't be seen sooner the receptionist at Church Walk was very helpful she asked the Nurse on duty if she could fit me in tonight but apparently see didn't do pneumonia vaccinations. Then 1 appointment only then next one end of the month.
