"Hugely impersonal "

This used to be such a lovely surgery, where the Doctor actually knew you, your medical history and cared. It has become so hard to get an actual appointment (let alone with a GP you actually know. The experience of visiting what is meant to be 'my' GP has become ridiculously difficult and impersonal. I feel genuinely deterred from attempting to go unless necessary and on the few occasions I have, the appointments I am offered can be weeks later, which, if unsatisfactory you are told to go to the walk in or A&E. It seems as though this practice is invalidating itself. Whilst staff seem pleasant enough, the point of the practice is to see your 'own' GP in what is a timely manner. I have certainly not been told (or written) to regarding GP changes at the practice or any new staff, which leads me to believe the practice is genuinely not interested in what the patient experience is at all.
