The two nurses who did blood tests and fitted/removed my cannula this evening were extremely caring. I was in the hospital for a paracetamol overdose, and they were so kind to me. One asked me about speaking Italian as they took the blood samples, and the other (later that evening, removing my cannula) was extremely attentive, caring and gentle. I am so grateful to these wonderful people for making what was quite a traumatic experience less so. They made my evening with their kindness. Being a 15-year old in the hospital for possible liver damage, I would really like to thank both of them for being so sensitive and comforting. The work nurses do makes such a difference to people’s lives, and I really thought that they should know that. I really appreciate their effort, kindness and genuine empathy.
"Very kind nurses for which I was very grateful"
