Firstly when i joined this surgery from another in may last year on getting my prescription one set of tablets was missing Citalopram i had to go back in to get another and to get the staff to put it back on my list, firstly why was it missing,i got my tablets.
Point to know from my other surgery doctor i agreed to try and reduce my taking of this tablet by reducing to half of tablet thus my tablets lasted longer thus not always needing to get on prescription day,i was trying to decide if i could do without them
So 1. was trying to reduce reliance
2. not needing to have every prescription
As i ran out of citalopram i decided i still needed to have some so put in my prescription for more on collecting they were missing doctor stopped them the reason was i had not been ordering them which was not right because it was not being logged on data base of my last prescription with them on,another failing by staff or something.
I did not get any letter phoned call regarding this as it was for depression and past suicde and break down i phoned reception the lady could give me no answer was not concerned about missing information or would pass it to her manager after telling her of the above reasons for missing the tablet she didnt care just said see doctor.
i didnt know what to do felt alone alienated distrusted the pratice
i just let it go but after suffering depression again i thought i must write
"Critical failings"
