"bad mannered and unprofessional"

About: Doncaster Royal Infirmary

In 2014 I had a kidney transplant at St James's University hospital, Leeds. I've been experiencing discomfort around the site of the transplant, and my consultant in Leeds requested that my GP arrange an ultra sound examination be carried out at Doncaster Royal Infirmary. I attended the appointment on 29th November 2019, and on walking in the Dr said to me 'what are you here for today?'. I explained that id had a kidney transplant inserted into my right side, and that my consultant in Leeds wanted me to have an ultra sound to check for an hernia, due to discomfort!. He said do you require an ultra sound on the right side, the left side, or both?. I explained that as the transplant is on the right side, I would think the right!. He went on to show me that in his notes it stated to ultra sound both my left and right groin. I explained that I'm no doctor, so just do what it says in your notes. He got quite bad mannered, and stated to me that he 'is a doctor, and didn't have time to do both sides, even though it clearly stated in his notes that both sides required doing!. He only scanned the right side; surely he should of carried out what it said in his notes, and scanned both sides, instead of asking me (the patient), what I thought should be done!?. I thought the doctor who carried out the scan was bad mannered and unprofessional!.
