I went for physio after training for and running a marathon in April this year. I had some hip pain and tried resting and also doing some exercises given by my Doctor. By August it was no better and was hindering me when I ran and I had a half marathon booked for the October so I self referred to physio.
The lady I seen was wonderful, she really listened to me and got me doing some exercises to see where I was lacking strength. She gave me a resistance band and some specific exercises to try, if they didn't work by the time I saw her the month after she would look at getting my running gait looked at and other things. I did them and after 2/3 weeks I could really see a huge improvement! I just needed to strenghten that side of my hip and by doing what she suggested I was back to full stregth again, reallly quickly. I was amazed! She really knows her stuff, she is also a runner too and that helped as she knew what I was dealing with, she was fab and I just wanted to say thanks very, very much and I managed to do the half marathon in October after all!
"Great service"
