About: Hull Royal Infirmary

I went into the women and children's ward in Hull Royal for my first every surgery. And was looked after so well by the surgeons, the nurses and everyone on the ward. They never rushed me or dismissed me, when I said I felt sick they helped and when I said I was in pain they fixed it. The nurse held my hand and helped calm me down right before the surgery and never rushed me one bit as I was terrified. Even though everyone was clearly massively busy and rushed off their feet they always helped with a smile when they could. Even explaining everything clearly for me afterwards and taking time to help me control my irrational fears. Thank you to everyone so much you made a terrifying experience far less scary than it could have been.
