"Disgusting Questions being asked by male staff..."

I have been attending Heaton Norris Health Centre my whole life, however my last experience was disgusting and completely unprofessional. I call the practice to book in my smear, to be asked by a male member of staff "when was your last period" which I did answer. The the next question turned my stomach, he went on to ask "when was the last time you had sex" I was beyond shocked! I understand reception staff are being trained in triage and sign posting but this went to far. I put the phone down I was that upset, before I put the phone down I asked for the name of the manger which he refused to give to me. After a long hard think I have made my mind up to leave the practice. If this is the kind of staff which are going to be employed I will not be apart of a practice like that. May I add that I have dealt with the amazing staff over the years especially the reception manager who goes that extra mile. When I asked to speak to the manager I was told no!
