"Cancel appointments and don’t inform you"

About: Leicester General Hospital

Shocking, turned up for an appointment today for day case. Informed that pain management had cancelled appointments due to lack of theatre staff. It was cancelled over a week before and received no phone call or letter. So not only did I stick to a strict routine with food and fluids, I now have to wait over 2-3 months for a rescheduled appointment. This is shocking. I know the nhs are short staffed, but surely they should ensure when appointments are made they have the staff to carry out the procedures. I now have to suffer in pain all over the next few months. Thanks very much pain management at the Leicester general hospital
