About: Basildon University Hospital

I arrived at 1pm.met by nurse and taken to small ward.1st hour spent with nurse, anethetist and surgeon.they explained exactly what would happen.from feeling apprehensive at first they put my mind at rest.had kidney stones out about 2.15 and back at 4.15...spent an hour in bed having one to one nursing for various monitoring.then up and had tea and toast brought to me.got dressed and they phoned to arrange my lift home and left at 7pm......6 hours where the staff were fully professional to my health and although extremely busy courteous and patient at all a times..the NHS really is truly amazing.thanks to all.
