Without consultation or a full assessment of my mental health history my psychiatrist has changed my diagnosis. My understanding is, in line with the Mental Health Acts patient centred care approach should be the default method of care. My psychologist asked for my diagnosis to be added to which he ignored. If my psychologist is correct then not only have I been on antipsychotic medication unnecessarily all this time but my pip is due for renewal and it will be declined. Just because my psychiatrist won't listen to reason. I and my family already live in poverty and this will destroy us. So do I come of these medications? Are they to blame for having to spend 1 1/2 years in hospital out of the last 6?
