I worked in the NHS as an Anaesthetist for 35yrs. I was referred by my GP for a scan of my groin. The man who performed insisted that a scan of my scrotum was what was asked for inspire of me repeatedly telling him it was my groin that was the problem . He was rude and would have been happy in his bed at home. His whole attitude was that he was doing his patients a favour.Unfortunately I had to see the consultant Surgeon with the use less report of the scan of my testis who has asked for a scan of my groin which is being done at King George’s on the 25th November. What a waste of time and energy for me and a waste of money and time for the NHS. This means a second visit the hospital for the scan and another one to see the surgeon. Meanwhile I am in a lot of pain. It would be worthwhile re checking this mans medical credentials and send him on some courses on human relationship specially let him know that the patients go to the hospital with some ailment and not for a day out
