I am appalled by the deterioration in this practice over the last few months in particular with the customer service and attitude of the receptionist I have spoken with and the general service provided by the reception desk.
I have tried to call the practice today over 60 times! 2 of which I got through and was next in queue only to have the phone put down on me both times after being on hold each time for 15-20 mins and being 3rd in the queue. A basic skill should be for someone to know how to pick up a phone especially when they know it's a patient trying to get an appointment for something which could be urgent. I feel like it was done intentionally to happen twice in a row to cut the queues on the phone for the reception desk. Absolutely appalling! I need to book an appointment for my baby and also reschedule my appointment - the online service will not let me book any appointments as I have a routine nurse appointment booked in for next week. I'm so fed up with this surgery and the poor customer service and attitude of the staff - some in depth basic training is needed urgently!
I have tried throughout the day also after peak times late morning and afternoon and now I can't even get through....and people wonder why the public are going to A&E....It's due to practices like this
