I hope the management at this service read this. I had CBT therapy for my anxiety and panic attacks at the Prospect house site over several months but was left worse after the therapy stopped than when i first started. And in the end he just signed me off and said i should refer myself again. I found out that if you have multiple issues as i did as with a GP they can only solve one problem. So as my panic attacks were better at the end he must have put me down as a success but his poor treatment of me left my anxiety worse than ever and i developed insomnia which i've never suffered with before. In the end he kept changing my appoinments with the longest gap being 5 weeks. I felt he used to talk to me in a condecending manner and at this time i was in a complete crisis due to lack of sleep and anxiety levels at there highest ever. I remember on one visit i told him what a bad state i was in so scared as i didn't understand what was going on and that i didn't feel in control he smiled and said people live with insomnia for years with no disruption to there lives and made me feel so small and as if my issues were not taken serious at all. I feel he failed in his attempt to help me because he just didn't listen to what i was telling him and kept on trying things that just didn't work for me.
I have refered myself again as i nowhere else to turn as i can't go private. But i have been waiting four months and nothing, i have no idea when i will be seen again.
I feel this service has and is still failing me and all the others that have left comments. We are people at breaking point and are scared all the time as we don't know what is going on inside us and i need your help and as yet havent had any. You all should be ashamed as you have let down people that are at there lowest point and need help.
