"My daughters miscarriage"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Maternity Care (Wards 21-24)

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter sadly started to miscarry her first pregnancy recently. She booked a private reassurance scan following some spotting. As she stood up to go into the scan room for her appointment, she haemorrhaged. The so called professionally trained obstetric staff where worse than useless. No compassion, no time spent, not even physical help with padding.

To say she was a wreck by the time we got to Wishaw Early pregnancy assessment unit.

Within minutes they had my daughter in a bed, on fluids. Examined and most importantly reassured and spoken to.

What a wonderful team.

Thank you everyone.
