"They are a credit to our NHS."

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Emergency Medicine

(as a carer),

My partner has been admitted to A& E twice over the last two weeks. When I eventually got through to the ward to see him I was struck by how engaging, cheery and patient all of the nurses were. It was the middle of a busy night meaning the department was packed! Despite this the nurses were patient, chatty and friendly. I couldn’t fault the job they did - in particular Gillian! They are a credit to our NHS.

Dear Nellany

Many thanks for sharing your feedback on your recent experiences within the emergency Department.

The emergency department is a busy and often stressful environment but so pleased that the staff remained cheery and friendly. We always aim to deliver person centred care at all times.

I will pass on your thanks to the team and especially Gillian who will be delighted with the personal feedback.

With best wishes to you and your partner.

Fiona Robertson

Chief Nurse
