"Appalling experience"

An operation was scheduled for late in the afternoon. At 7pm, it was cancelled! Apparently the reason was due to a very slight temperature rise (unproven) - and this was strongly questioned by an experienced GP early the next morning. Following a very polite FOI request on the number of NHS operations conducted on the day of this cancelled operation, treatment has now been refused, citing 'relationship breakdown'. It seems very clear that NHS patients are absolutely second class citizens at this hospital and that to question a decision will result in them removed from the patient list.
