"The care my mother received"

My mother, Dorothy, was in Wad 10 at Wishaw General for 4 weeks before passing away this week at 4.15am. The care she received was absolutely outstanding from everyone. From the wonderful, gentle and compassionate nurses who always there to help, even just with a gentle touch. Nothing was ever too much to ask of them and in that final week this amazing team treated my father, my brother and myself with as much kindness as my mother herself. I could never thank them enough.

From the marvellous team of doctors who tried so hard and always took the time to see us and explain what they were doing and why, they were so very kind to us all.

And the lovely ladies who always offered us a cuppa as we sat at my mothers bedside.

What’s a fabulous team and all the gentle care meant the world to us, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
