"Delay for surgery to shoulder"

About: University Hospital Ayr / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as the patient),

The nhs in my opinion is something we should cherish. In many country’s I would have to pay for my treatment or worse not have it at all. I was under the care of dr cheng and his team and many more nurses, asst nurses, house keepers etc. Put them all together and I would say I had a terrific experience. Yes I was given a date which was then cancelled, but I understand that sometimes things can arise that are out with the norm. Older people, children, people in accident the list goes on that would need treatment before my operation. My partner works for NHS so I know the work load, stresses and conditions that she and the rest of the workers from porters to doctors put up with Ona daily base. I would just like to thank every one that was involved in my care for showing all that is good with the nhs. Many thanks
