Even ending up on life support in 2016 was not enough to stop my alcoholism, however, in June 2018 I decided that I would have to get sober in order to stay alive. The unit was very supportive and I think the staff realised that this time I was determined to quit for good. Thank you to all the staff for believing in me when all others had given up on me. I'm still sober and owe it all to a positive start provided by all the Chapman Barker staff. A ten day detox can work. Many thanks, Antony Bell
