"Relaxed welcoming caring"

My mother-in-law has been resident for the last 18 months at Walton Manor and I cannot speak highly enough of her care in every conceivable way. The staff are always genuinely friendly and willing to help in any way from observations about your loved one to a cup of tea! Whilst visiting last time, mum was in the library with a few other residents in the middle of a lovely catholic service provided by the local church in consultation with the excellent manager. You only have to mention something you’d like for your relative and it’s provided!It was a joy to see mum able to partake in the service as she can no longer get out to church. I must also mention the occasions that mum has had emergency admittances to hospital. The manager and staff made sure that the hospital were fully aware of her medical history and needs - accompanying her and staying with her until family members could be present and providing ongoing support until she was discharged. This was such a comfort for our family knowing she was not alone at such a confusing time. I couldn’t wish for a better place for our mum to be - it has taken away the worry from my wife - we all know she couldn’t have better care.
