I recently had to stay on the Notley Ward after being admitted from a&e at around half one in the morning. The nurse was incredibly helpful and friendly, when I wasn't in a good way. She went out of her way to offer me a sandwich at 2am and went through what will happen in the morning. The rest of the stay (around 3days) all the nurses were superb even with the incredibly difficult patients. They were so nice they apologised for the most minor thing, like having to do a nose swab when I am sitting there with a catheter in I didn't mind that! Despite the hugely long shifts and being on their feet all day with no respite and repeated issues they always were apply to help and went above and beyond. I only saw the doctor for around 30 seconds each day so the contact with the nurses was invaluable.
I can't them enough for their care while I was on the Notley ward.
"Great care on the Notley Ward"
