I took my three year old son to Minehead Minor Injuries Unit when he fell and hit his head at home (climbing up on our washing basket!)
We arrived at MIU about 6.30pm in the evening. Our information was taken at reception and we were seen within 5 minutes. My sons head wound was cleaned and glued, his observations were checked and we were given reassurance and information about head injuries. We were home again within half an hour, didn’t have to fill out any forms or hand over any money for this wonderful service. A shining example of our precious NHS.
