"Unprofessional reception staff "

I use this practise only because it is the closest to me. The doctors I have no problem with, it is the reception staff. There are a few that are just so incredibly unprofessional, eating down the phone whilst talking. I found one particularly ubrupt who I spoke to today. I am currently off work due to anxiety and have been for a few months. When I requested a note to be extended, I got a snappy reply of, so does the doctor USUALLY just give you a note without seeing THEM? I explained that I had been told if I needed an extention to request one, but if I needed to see a doctor or speak to one that would be okay.Also i was sarcastically asked if the note I had was in fact given by a doctor... Due to my health at the moment it takes a lot for me to pick up the phone and make a call, to be spoke to with such contempt as I was today does not help and certainly chewing or eating down the phone is NOT professional at all. Its disgusting. I was taken a back and a bit shocked and I didn't say anything. I felt it was important to highlight this.
