It would be hugely beneficial to provide feedback to patients on the estimated time to be seen. Arrived in A&E at 8.45 and the reported waiting time was 2hrs... after still waiting to see a doctor at 1.15am decided to give up and go home...
I find it incredible that the estimated waiting time can be so inaccurate... Although it seemed quiet the whole time I was there, I appreciate unforeseen events occur in such a department but why can't this information be conveyed to people waiting and the estimated time be updated to reflect this...

Thank you for your feedback regarding the advertised waiting time in the Accident and Emergency department at Maidstone Hospital. I will pass your feedback onto the Matron and ask that she speaks to staff regarding updating the waiting times.
