"We will always remember your kindness"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital (Paisley)

(as a relative),

My mother in law was rushed to hospital in the very early hours of the morning after her heart stopped at home. She was taken straight to resus, however sadly passed away shortly after she arrived.

Her husband (my father in law) was there with her. When he phoned to let us know what had happened, one of the first things after he explained everything was how kind and compassionate both nurses and the doctor were to him. He has spoken so highly of the two nurses we felt they should know they made a difference to a shocked and grieving man and we can’t thank them enough for looking after our family when we weren’t there ourselves. I expect these two lovely professionals will see it as part of their job but I would appreciate it greatly if our forever thanks could be passed onto them, Dr Manson, Nikki and Gary we as a family and especially our father will always remember your kindness.

Thank you so much, for taking the time to share your kind and thoughtful comments at such a harrowing time of sudden loss for your and your family.

We have shared your helpful feedback with the staff involved who were very grateful and humbled to receive it. It was reassuring for staff to know that your father-in-law felt so supported at such a devastating time in his life.

with all best wishes,

Linda
