"Need not have worried"

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital

(as a service user),

Had a hysteroscopy at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Kings Lynn.

I was very nervous having read some horror stories on social media. Even though a friend is a hysteroscopist, I was still unsure, but need not have worried. The consultant was brilliant, the 2 nurses with me were lovely, and to be honest I didn't need the pain relief that I had taken, but that's probably because nothing could be done surgically at outpatients. Pain relief is always recommended.

Firstly I must apologise for the delay in responding to the comments you posted onto this website (although I believe that you have posted since this comment about a similar experience). I am sorry to hear that you were worried prior to your appointment but very pleased that the consultant and nurses were able to allay your fears and for your experience under their care to be so positive. I will be sharing your comments with our gynaecology nursing and consultants team so that they are aware of your experience as I know that they will appreciate your kind words.

Kind regards
