"Repeat prescriptions and appointments"

For over a year now Southsea medical centre have consistently not sent out my repeat prescription to the pharmacy though the pharmacy has requested it. It's happened time and time again. It's so frustrating and not just for me, the patient. The pharmacy get frustrated as well as they're doing their job right. My pharmacist even complained directly to the manager of the practice as she felt bad for me coming in every week and my prescription not being there as Southsea medical centre did not electronically send it out as requested. It was ok for a short while after that but soon went back to their unprofessional practice of not responding to request. 

My other issue is that I cannot seem to ever get an appointment there. I rarely need the doctor or make appointments so when I genuinely do need one the last thing I want to be told is "there are no appointments available, you'll have to call back in a couple weeks " or "Yes, but not for 6 weeks" This is not good enough. Who goes to the doctors for an appointment and is ok with waiting nearly 2 months? Not me, thats for sure.

Nice reception staff and a clean practice but so unprofessional when it comes to repeat prescriptions and balancing appointments. I'm fine with them and am changing practice now.
