What a great hospital!

I have been a patient here for approx 5 years

Last month within 20mins of arrival on the ward for surgery I was seen & prepared for heart ablation by a nurse & also seen by cardiologist who talked through once again the procedure & after care. The standard of care on this ward & the cardiology clinic is of the highest standard including lovely staff involved in the cardio conversions.

Within 2 days of coming home at a weekend follow-up appointments & full report had been sent to myself + GP.

a lovely arrythmia nurse called to check how I was doing and talked me through the after effects of procedure & adjusted my medication.

Despite being a very busy ward & caring for some seriously ill patients there was always someone answering the call button within a short time.

I know of folk in other parts of the country who are waiting months for the surgery & procedures done here.

Thank you QE - you have every reason to be proud of the standards you strive to maintain.
