"God bless our NHS"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Cardiology / Coronary Care Unit

(as a relative),

My mother was admitted to ARI a couple of weeks ago after collapsing at home and brought in by ambulance.

The care she received was nothing short of great - wonderfully attentive nursing staff despite the pressure on them being short-staffed and busy the whole time.  I found that when I spoke with them about my mum they took the time to talk to me and our other family to reassure us.

God bless our NHS and we would be lost without them.

Dear Rozee

Thank you so much for your kind words.

I will ensure that our nursing team and Scottish Ambulance colleagues are sent a copy of your feedback.

It always gives the team a wonderful boost to know that their care and attention has been valued.

I'm so glad to hear that you felt reassured by our team during what will have been a stressful experience for you all. We really do aim to ensure that we communicate and try to reassure and inform our patients and their families throughout their admission.

I hope your mother is making a good recovery now.

Thank you again for your kind words,

Catriona
