"Care and treatment"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / Critical Care

(as a relative),

I just would like to say a massive thank you to each Nurse, Doctor and consultant that looked after my mum when she unfortunately took unwell and needed urgent treatment..

Sadly my mum passed away in August this year,  We will never get over this and it’s been the hardest time in our life’s.

After my mum got transferred to HDU the nursing and medical stuff were all amazing working tirelessly to do everything and anything possible , my mum had to get transferred to ICU soon after she was admitted to HDU, I cannot fault the team in ICU, they could not do enough for my dad and I and the rest of the family. The kept us informed all the way and tried all they could and I do believe they did everything that was possible.

The Nurse that was there for us on that last day, “Caron” special thank you to you, you were so caring and compassionate and professional all the way, you just knew what to say and do in the most difficult times. You are truly an amazing nurse and was really comforting to have you by our side at the most awful time. I’ve been wanting to come and thank you all personally but i cannot build the courage to go back to the unit as it’s all still very raw.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts from the whole family xxx

The staff teams in HDU and ICU will be very grateful to hear your kind words, especially Caron who was such a comfort to you. Thanks again for your comments which I shall ensure are passed to the teams.

Kind Regards
