About: St Mary's Hospital

I visited the hospital due to a misscarriage which was distressing and I have to say the hospital dealt with my situation very through and professional. Everything was discussed throught my treatment and the choices to go through were explained in the best way possible by the very supportive nurse. I had to return for treatment and I have to say again the nurse who helped me through a difficult time was amazing!! I don't think enough credit goes out to our nhs heroes and I just want to say thank you.

Thank you for your positive comments posted on the NHS website regarding your care on the Emergency Gynaecology Unit (EGU) at Saint Mary’s Hospital. It was very kind of you to take the time to write and compliment the staff as it is good to receive positive feedback which reflects the hard work and dedication of our staff.

The Trust has introduced a Behavioural framework called ‘Together Care Matters’ within which all members of the nursing and medical teams practice so it was reassuring to read that the Nursing and medical teams providing care were able to make you feel supported, cared for and reassured at such a difficult time. I can assure you that we have passed on your thoughts to Dr Rohna Kearney, Clinical Head of Division for Gynaecology and Mrs Catherine Bartlett, Head of Nursing who will be pleased to share your feedback with Sister Liz Malone, Ward Manager for EGU and the extended team.

Mrs Karen Connolly

Chief Executive Officer Saint Mary’s Hospital Managed Clinical Services.
