"Staff at my ultrasound appointments"

About: Dr Gray's Hospital / Radiology

(as the patient),

I’ve had 3 ultrasound appointments over a short period of time.   The first with a staff member who didn’t make me feel welcome at all.   Then the next with a staff member who appeared as if they just couldn’t be bothered.   Then finally another who just grunted one word answers & sat staring at the machine.  

The staff at Dr Grays are usually very welcoming & professional but I feel that these staff members were not only letting their department down but the whole hospital.

I’m so sorry your experiences with members of the ultrasound team were disappointing and not up to the standard we expect. The staff at Dr. Gray’s are usually very welcoming and professional, and this is not the behaviour we would expect from our colleagues.

Your comments will be shared with the team and the manager will ask them to reflect on their recent performances and behaviours and they will learn from them.
