On taking my daughter to a&e after she had a suspected broken foot, I was shocked at how I was advised by the triage nurse, the brusque attitude on finding no broken bones made us feel like we were wasting their time. My daughter was on the verge of tears as she felt like she was being told off for not being able to bear any weight on her foot.
We were not offered any pain relief and the advice given was in an uncaring manner. Having been to this a&e dept in the past I have never encountered such abrupt care.
Very disappointed
The care received in the x Ray dept was pleasant so maybe I would suggest some training on front desk people skill?..
