"Never should have been discharged "

About: Kettering General Hospital

After a knee Replacement i returned to the Ashton Ward to recover. The following day I started to vomit because I thought of the medication I was having the next day I was given an anti sickness tablet that worked to a certain degree I was discharged the following day still feeling very ill. My discharge Papers were lost so had nothing to help my GP as they hadn't received anything either after another 4 days of vomiting my G P sent me to A and E where i was diagnosed with a stomach infection. In should never have been discharged when it was so obvious that I was so unwell. I hope I never have cause to visit this ward again or any of my family. The distress this has caused can never be forgotten and my recovery has been delayed
