From the start of my first pre-op appointment to the finish of my surgery and post-op assessment (I have cataract in both eyes), Spamedica at Newcastle-Under-Lyme had been superb. Professional, friendly, efficient - from receptionists to surgeons.
The whole of the waiting areas and toilets are very clean. I cannot fault the services that I have received and I would recommend them to anybody needing eye surgery.
Having the bonus of a Spamedica transport service, free onsite parking and complimentary tea/coffee made the stressful experience of having eye surgery a much less stressful one.
The waiting time from initial appointment to the operation was very short. In my own case it was less than 4 weeks, and other patients I have spoken to actually had their surgery in the same week as their initial pre-op assessment!
The customer services at HQ in Bolton was also very efficient and helpful every time I have a query or a concern.
