I visited A&E Ayr with my 10 year old daughter after she sustained a fall at school with damage to her wrist. At 2pm on a Monday afternoon I was surprised to see how busy they were. We were seen relatively quickly by a lovely ANP and sent for an X-ray to query a fracture. My daughter was made to feel at ease by all members of staff but in particular ANP Thomas. We were seen, X-rayed, diagnosed and discharged within 1 hour. Considering how busy the department was this in my opinion is an amazing turnaround time.
