";Mental Health injustice"

About: The Height General Practice

The Doctor in this surgery doesn't seem to have anytime compassion or sympathy for someone who is struggling with Mental Health i almost feel like I am treated less valuable than someone who goes in for a physical health issue. I get the feeling as though I have real patients that I need to attend to and see and always come out of the surgery feeling worse than when I went in on one occasion i came out and just burst into tears into my boyfriends arms and couldn't even hold my child because I was in such a state GPs need to understand that Mental Health patients are in pain too and our lives are affected just as much as someone with a physical Health issue. I feel my time at this surgery has now got to come to an end and move somewhere else where Mental Health is moving with the times I refuse to be treated and made to feel less adequate I already am suffering enough as it is maybe I should raise a grievance and make an appointment to see my MP
