disappointment surgery, no calling to book appointment on the day! you have to sit and wait for two hours with a poorly child! and make the other children late for school as you can't do the school drop off as you have to be at the surgery to sit and wait at 8am!!!
children can't play in the waiting area or you get told to keep them quiet, sorry but when they have been waiting for 2 hours its a little bit hard to keep 2 year old twins quiet...! I was told because people are poorly and they can't hear the people on the phones.... yes I've not come here for a playdate or a day out! maybe phones should be places away from a public sitting area, or maybe patients should have a time allocated to them!!!
if you do call after sit and wait time, they say call back after 1, you call at 1 they say sorry all of the appointments today are taken, its sit and wait AM, yes thank you I'm sorry I had to do the school run / but my child wasn't poorly at that time sorry for the inconvenience!
Looks like you will have to book in advance to when you THINK you might be ill! SHOCKING! i'm trying to change surgery's for my children sack, I'm lucky that I do not need to see the Dr, but my children shouldn't have to suffer!
there is also NEVER enough Doctors for the amount of patients!
