receptionists need to be very mindful with regards to their mannerism's - less shouting and more smiling ,iv have known of patients even bribing them in the past with cakes in the hope they get a better kinder service from them!
I do appreciate that GP's do have stringent time frames to work within.. however that's no excuse not to engage with their patients by listening to them ..I mean really listening!!!
if you are booking an appointment (Good Luck is all I can say!!!) even if you do manage to get an appointment let me warn you it is a very negative experience
I have lived and worked in different countries some were far less fortunate with regards to health funding then United Kingdom however I can honestly say that a least in those health centres staff smiled and were reassuring .. this centre could learn a thing or two from them!!!
Gorton Medical Centre has over subscribed far too many patients and it cant obviously cope
I think all the staff in particular their rude and arrogant receptionists should all be signed on to customer service training or even motivational/positivity courses ....
"negative service"
